Meet Becky Baines
Hey! I'm Becky Baines, Founder & Creative Mind behind Party Animal Publishing Services. As a writer, author, editor, and 20-year veteran of the publishing industry, I know every facet of bringing a book to life. I started my career in publishing as an editorial assistant in 2004. For nineteen years, I made my way through every level of the business until I was setting strategy as the Editorial Director at National Geographic and Disney Publishing. I’ve written magazine content, scripts for short form television, apps, and podcasts—and co-hosted The Weird But True Show on Sirius XM’s Kids Place Live for three seasons! I’ve pulled all-nighters to meet deadlines as an author, worked and re-worked manuscripts as an editor, brainstormed as a collaborator, and implemented publishing goals as an executive. Now that I find myself fully devoted to the creative side of publishing, I’m excited to devote all my time to my passion: helping everyone from up-and-coming creators to major publishers bring their vision to life. I look forward to brainstorming great ideas and creating incredible content for your next project!
